The File Tab contains the following options
| New File | Add a blank .dtl project world file |
| Open Files | Open an old .dtl files |
| Import | Open an old .dt or .dtl file and import into current project world |
| Save File | Save the current .dtl project world file |
| Save File As | Save a new .dtl project world file |
| Save Component | Save the current .dt single component file |
| Save Component As | Save a new .dt single component file |
| Exit DIATwin | Close the program |
